Fun hike up to Catherine, amazing weather and views on top! The road is open and snow free, but rough. There is still intermittent snow on the trail but its melting out fast. A few points left where you might lose the trail in the upper section due to snow and one area where you'll traverse a snow field where a slip could mean a long fall - see pic. That said, I did it with just non-GTX hiking shoes, didn't use my poles. Gaia stats: 2.7 miles, 1100' ascent, 5052' elevation, 1:24 total time, 0:12 stopped time.
Road and TH Conditions: You'll need to travel on gravel road for 5 miles or so from Snoqualmie Pass. The first section of the road is actually the worst, with large potholes that are unavoidable. Then the road is pretty good for a couple miles. The final mile has these 2 ruts that run parallel to the road, but they can be straddled. TH is just a pullout for 2-3 cars, no facilities.
