Franklin Ghost Town — Monday, Jul. 4, 2022

Had a beautiful hike on the trails. This was the first hike we took our 6mo-old mini golden doodle on and he did great.

Positives include easy hiking, friendly care takers, managed trails, and beautiful scenery

From a constructive feedback perspective… it would be nice if there was some signage at the junction with the coal car indicating what was down each path of the trail. Maybe some mileage on how far down the mi e is etc…

Also, I wouldn’t call this a ghost “town”. The town consists of mostly old foundations that are getting overgrown.

Overall still a nice hike though.
