If you enjoy hiking through lush, verdant old growth forest this is a great choice! However, although you do get glimpses of the lovely Duckabush River be aware that those views are fairly brief; for the most part this is a straightforward forest hike. But it's beautiful and very serene; a nice conditioning hike as there isn't anything too strenuous about it (we turned back after arriving at the viewpoint in the picture.) If you are searching for alpine meadows and soaring vistas this isn't the best choice, but it's very tranquil and pretty. Busy trail, so don't expect solitude.
