Summit Lake — Wednesday, Jul. 13, 2022

Evening hike on 7/13. The road is rough and takes quite a while to navigate, but we made it without a scratch in a RAV4. Trail is in good condition, snow starts near the top of the trail but is easy to walk on/around. Didn't use poles or spikes, just wore trail runners. Stunning views of the lake, surrounding peaks, and Rainier! Complete the loop around the lake to see the views from every angle. Lake is almost completely melted.
