It was HOT today. Got a mid-afternoon start - about 82 degrees when I set out. I felt it!
Is it a beautiful hike? Yes! Is a bit of a butt-kicker? Yes! Can you do it? Most likely! The payoff is totally there. I was dying on the way back down, but smiling the whole way home.
Also, the bugs: pretty bad! Good luck out there. They're hungry, and boy did they eat.
