Forest road and CCC trail in decent condition from Mt Tenerife parking lot, north, then cutting east. Good trail running, but several areas might be difficult to mountain bike. As others recently have mentioned, there are a few slightly tricky crossings still on the Lower CCC trail. After a few minutes of searching it was clear where the trail went, in those spots.
Black bear adult and cub encountered very close to Middle Fork campground, along the Upper CCC trail.
Middle Fork trail is beautiful now, in great condition. Beware of several off-leash dogs given this trail's popularity.
