North Cascades > Mount Baker Area
Don't forget to look up

Did this trail after visiting Baker lake.

Arrived at the TH around 10:45 am, with 3 other cars in the lot. The bathrooms are open and clean, but out of TP, bring your own. Though we did see rangers servicing the bathrooms at a stop a little ways down the road, so they probably restocked the bathrooms later the same day and we just beat them.

This is very similar to Grove of the patriarchs, easy, with big beautiful trees. Most of it is boardwalk, and a few paved sections.

Saw some huckleberries along the trail, not sure if they are ripe though.

The trees are beautiful, and massive, the boardwalk takes you right up to the largest ones.

This was a great family hike for all abilities. We didn't run into anyone else on trail. I think most use the lot to pull over and take breaks/use the bathrooms. So we had the trail to ourselves which was awesome. Our pups loved it too.

Very easy, really short with some awesome trees. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for an easy adventure.
