This trail needs either a lot of love, or it needs to be decommissioned. The major washouts/landslides/gullies between Blue Bell Pass and the intersection with the Union Creek trail are doable but barely. Very steep drop offs, all loose scree, and extremely dangerous with even a slight slip of the foot. The trail section north of the Union Creek intersection sees a lot more hoof prints than foot prints. Trail is very difficult to follow without using an app such as Gaia.

I want to respectfully disagree with your assessment. Did this trail today. The gullies looked intimidating from afar, but once we got closer - and walked the trails that traverse them - they turned out to be no big deal. We did not feel in danger at any point. Obviously different people will experience trail conditions differently depending on internal and/or external factors, but I do not think one person's discomfort is cause to "decommission" a trail - whatever that means. I'll also add that it may well be true that this area sees more hooves than people, but I'd count that as one of its attractions. (Maybe you would, too. It isn't entirely clear.)
