Lone Fir Loop — Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022

We arrived at the trailhead to find 2 pink streamers strung across the entrance to the trail.  One of the streamers was broken.  It is not clear who placed them there, since it wasn’t the forest service.  While there are bridges out, and the trail is overgrown in areas, we never once lost the trail and it was beautifully cool in the forest.  Saw one other person on the trail. The trail crosses streams, so there are water sources for dogs.
