Summit Lake — Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022

Summit lake has been on my list for 2 years… so happy to have finally made it. Arrived at the TH at 10 am. Parking lot was full, but space to park on the road. The road to the TH was as rough as described. Hike up was gentle and gradual. Hiked with our crew of dogs and our foster, Amy. The dogs loved swimming in the lake. The fog was dense throughout the whole hike, but cleared once we finished the loop… so we went up again! Well-worth the trip back up.
