Unreasonably crowded, arrived at 9am and no spots left in the lot. Had to wait around to find someone leaving. Heard there was bear sightings nearby, bugs were absolutely devastating left with lots of bites. Would recommend finding another area to showcase Rainier’s beauty.

I think this is where everyone goes when the parking lot at Sunrise fills and the rangers starts turning cars away.
