Parked at the southern lot around 10am, plenty of spaces. We took baby in the running stroller and had no issues getting down to the beach. There is a paved path that spits you right out to the beach walkway area.
Many other dogs also on walks (and people) but the path along the beach is wide enough that it doesn't feel crowded.
We walked north to Lowman Beach Park, it's not too far outside of Lincoln Park. Nice area to rest and let baby out of the stroller to waddle around and play with rocks. Then we headed back on Lincoln Park Way onto 47th Ave where we then went back into Lincoln Park and walked through the park back to our car.
Restrooms in the park were open and clean. We also stumbled upon a movie (or TV?) crew getting set up for a day of shooting. Lots of trailers, golf carts, etc. parked in the "skinny" parking lot along Fauntleroy. Tried to look up what they were shooting but Google came up short. All we saw was a sign on one of the trailers that said "Ms. Banks" but I'm sure that's a code name for someone, right?
It's been a while since I've been to Lincoln Park, always lots to see and explore. Baby and dog had a great time.
