Myrtle Falls — Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022

We hiked up to Myrtle Falls from the Paradise parking area.  The trail is fully exposed and it was a warm sunny day.  Sunscreen and hats were a must.  The trail is paved and has a gentle incline, but that made it very crowded and there was a line for access at the falls overlook.  Still, the meadow is lovely, the views of Rainier stunning, and the falls were perfect as advertised.  We were not prepared for the exposure water-wise so we returned to the lovely Paradise Inn for some lunch and made plans to return better prepared.  Perhaps a reservation at the Inn is in our future.
