Got there by 8:10 and grabbed the last parking space in the lot. Road was ROUGH and I did see some sedans made it. Not sure how though.
This is a very pretty hike. Once you are out of the forest after a mile or so, you start to see the meadow view with lots of flowers still. Blueberries are becoming ripen and tasty. Trail was very busy for such a small trailhead parking lot. Some bugs chased us during lunch but otherwise it’s not too bad. It felt more tiring than what the stats say somehow. Took us forever to get to the lookout but going down was much quicker. Total 6hr moving time with lots of stops.
All in all it’s a good hike. Not sure if it’s go back mainly because of the last 4miles of rough road to the trailhead.
