Great hike out to Lake Ann. Morning started off very misty, which was wonderful. By the time I reached the lake, the cloud cover was clearing up and continued to do so in spurts throughout the morning. Trail was in great condition and clear all the way up. (There's maybe one area as you start to go into a rocky climb where it loops around the bend to the left and almost looks like it disappears for a second, but it's marked by a cairn, and if you continue to just follow the trail around the bend it'll be clear once you get there.) There were a few water crossings, but none posed any trouble - water was fairly low and there were plenty of rocks to walk over on. There were one or two areas with some heavier mud, but these were all very crossable too. There's a decent amount of wildflowers left considering the time of year, but things are largely transitioning toward autumn. Bugs were occasionally a bother if you were still for too long up near the lake, but overall not bad or too noticeable. (It was relatively cool with a decent breeze which probably helped with that.)
