I spend too much time on Google. I wondered: can you bushwhack to the far end of Pinnacle Lake, climb the talus to the bottom of the gully, fight your way up to the base of the cliff, then veggie-belay down to a rock jutting out 500ft above Lake 22?
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Not Recommended.

No - stupid. Not the usual dumbass kind; the kind where you call yourself by your full name. As in "David, you are being really stupid right now."
I knocked a rock off that ledge, and it was a full three seconds before it hit anything. After that, it clattered all the way down til I couldn't hear it anymore. I didn't stay long.
Anyways, how 'bout Hempel Lake! I've been curious about this one forever - sits right in the middle of its famous neighbors and I can't find a thing about it. This could be the only pic!
