Incredible vistas. Larch heaven with tons of fall foliage. Road is doable (I did in a minivan) but narrow, bumpy and hard if there is a lot of traffic. One person we encountered had just stopped to throw rocks over the cliff for no reason (we were not thrilled). We saw a few people with dogs. We did not bring ours as the ridge is very open and exposed for miles water is limited to a tarn past the 4 mile mark. Smoke and haze in the distance and caused some minor discomfort.
