Spectacular day hiking up to Observation Rock. Left the trailhead at first light and made good time up to Spray Park with stops for Spray Falls and the Eagle Cliffs viewpoint.
The trail to the Flett Glacier is in good shape and easy to follow. From the base of the glacier it looked steeper than it was so we circled around Echo Rock instead. It was loose and time consuming and not worth it.
The views from the summit were amazing and would only have been better if it were later in the day so the sun was behind us. We descended down the glacier with Microspikes and no problems.
Saw two bear near the end of the trail and missed seeing a sow with two cubs in Spray Park.
