Mount Spokane State Park - Mount Kit Carson Trail — Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022

Headed up to Mt Spokane to enjoy this "late summer" weather.  Feels a lot more like fall up there, although the summit road is already closed for the seaon.  We started at the snowmobile parking lot (at the intersection with the road to the nordic ski trails and the summit road, currently closed) and did a nice ~8 mile roundtrip hike to Mt. Kit Carlson. Beautiful views, although a bit hazy, nice foliage cover, minimal mountain bikers on the trail.  FYI the restrooms off the summit road are all closed for the season too.
