Arrived at the trailhead around 10:30 a.m. and got the last spot in the parking lot. Plenty of parking out along the road, though. Trailhead bathroom was open and stocked.
The trail is in great shape. No blowdowns, no standing water despite the heavy rain the day before. It was damp, but we would have been fine without waterproof boots. The stream crossings were not bad at all. Not a lot of people on the trail, especially once past the turn-off for Granite.
Once up at the lake, the snow line looks to be only 100' at most above the lake right now.
