Arrived at the sno park at about 8:45 this morning with my dog and partner. There were about 4 other cars. There are a few port a potties here. There is no trash service here or anywhere on the trail during the winter so please remember to pack out all your trash.
We walked from the Sno Park to the trial head where about 10 other cars were parked. We used our snowshoes on this part, but they weren’t necessary.
One we got to the trail head, most people had snowshoes but a few were just in boots. We also saw a few cross country skiers.
As we were heading back to the trail head (about 11:30) the snow park and parking area near the trailhead were very full.
The views were beautiful even with the over cast conditions. The flat terrains was perfect as this was my partners first time snowshoeing. Would recommend for beginners or anyone looking for a nice hike with beautiful views.
