My group hoped to enjoy the view from Mount Washington during the predicted partly sunny skies, but sadly that never happened! We started around 8:45am with a few other cars in the parking lot, and within an hour were surrounded by thick clouds. It's okay though, because this trail is absolutely beautiful in the snow.
There are a few trees down across the trail that can be navigated relatively easily. We all wore microspikes the entire time. One group member lost one of his spikes towards the end of the trail, please let me know if you happen to find it! The trail does cross a few steep slopes, so be sure to check the avalanche forecast before doing this one. Toilet at the TH was open and stocked. Will definitely be giving this one another go during a clear weather window!
