Nice winter hike.
We went on an almost rain free day in late December. The road in the park and the upper trailhead were closed for renovations. So we started from the lower trailhead on highway 11 on the west side. There were about ten to fifteen cars parked there and plenty of room for us, arriving about 11.
The hike was about 8 miles round trip to the top. There was no view because of clouds, but it was still a nice hike.
