Lake 22 — Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023

Trail conditions for Saturday 1/7/23:

Perfect day for a winter hike. The trail was essentially snow free until around 1.5 miles in. From that point there was intermittent snow leading up to the lake, which was surrounded by snow and the lake partially frozen. We used microspikes and I was happy to have them, though you could probably have made it without. The snow was packed and not too slick in most places.

The parking lot was no problem, it looked like most of the snow from December had melted out.
