Twin Falls — Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
What is a “dog-wood” tree?

A typical moist & dewy hike in the PNW side of the i90 corridor. She’s a sweet & simple hike, providing both views & sounds of rushing waterfalls nearby. Keep trekking along and eventually you’ll be eye-to-eye with the twin falls themselves. You’ll have a couple options of vantage points, as there’re views from both below the falls and above. The bridge is a great point of view but I will add that the lower staircase had a much more complimentary view of the falls than the afore mentioned. For even sweeter views, be sure to check it out during winter/spring as summer or dry season seems to be a bit anticlimactic. (But still awesome.)

*Mud, ankle-breakers, slippery rocks.

*be sure to keep track of your mileage as it’s easy to over-jump this hike as there is no true “ending point” after the overpass bridge. Another commenter mentions that this is not a true “out-and-back” trail since there is another entry point via Exit 38. (We accessed the trail thru Exit 34. Passed the bridge and kept hiking along since there was no signage or true ending point marker.)
