As we've had light snowfall this year, my friend, dog and I decided to try the Snow Creek Trail. The road was in fairly good condition (a couple of big potholes) but as there was a recent windstorm there was a lot of blow down alongside the road. Someone had come through to clear it but there were a LOT of branches scratching against the sides, top and bottom of our car. The trail itself was fine - a few downed trees that were easily stepped over and some snow about halfway up. Towards the top, there was a bit of ice on the trail which made it a bit dicey going down as this trail has some very steep sections. As we reached the top, the sun broke out and we had beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Very nice winter hike!!
