I wanted another walk today, so I came over to Rattlesnake Ledge. I was surprised how many people were still out despite the weather. Not overwhelming, but definitely didn’t thin out until going past the first ledge.

Take an amble around the lake towards the trail to warm up your legs and start up pass some of the fallen boulders.

The trail was in good condition, some patches of mud and didn’t see any (small patches) of leftover slush until the last quarter of a mile up or so.

Others may disagree, but I think these are good switch backs given there meandering, it didn’t feel too boring like you get on other hills.

I started up to the second ledge but decided to call it short since I was getting close to running out of time in the parking lot. It closes at 530, next time I’ll be sure to park outside of the gate to give myself more leeway.

Great trail, I can’t wait to go to the upper ledges in the future.
