Kachess Lake — Sunday, Mar. 12, 2023

A Sunday snowshoe with preschoolers. We arrived at 9:45 am at the snopark. Plenty of parking although a number of trucks with trailers for snowmobiles were there. Took us along time to get organized and was quite a bit of snowmobile activity at the trailhead. Once the 15+ snowmobiles got going and we were also on our way, it was relatively quiet with very intermittent snowmobile traffic. No snowshoes needed on the groomed road but we used ours anyway. Didn't make it to the camp ground where snowshoes would have been useful but did get far enough to have a nice view of the lake. 3 hours round trip. Saw a handful of other hikers/skiiers/snowshoes.
