It was a beautiful day for a walk along this urban trail along the Anacortes waterfront past the marina and boat storage yards. Don't let that deter you, there are nice views of Baker and some fun artwork along the way. The bridge is fixed, as mentioned by Quantum Guru in an earlier report. We started at Cap Sante and walked out and back. Restrooms are located behind the yacht sales office in a white building with blue trim. There are also sanicans right where the trail starts out across the water, other loos along the way were locked. This would be a great walk for kids (maybe starting a bit closer to the bridge for little feet) and would be fine for wheelchairs also. Do keep an ear and eye out for bikes so you don't get run over. The daffodils are in color bud, so another few days before a golden valley, but the Snow Goose is open and selling bundles of local daffs and the huge ice cream cones.
