Trip Report

Paradise Valley Conservation Area — Monday, Mar. 20, 2023

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Weather forecast for light rain this MON 20mar2023 morning .. ~07:45 i was the first to arrive at the PVCA Trailhead Parking. A few minutes later, when i was going Out/Up, a Light Truck arrived. And when i got back to the Parking ~3 hrs later, i was the only one there.

My CW-Loop: (P) > (1) > (2) > (3) > (4) > (N) > (5) > (P) was ~8.0 miles ~3:08

The trails on the North-side of PVCA was "wilder" .. brush, ferns, fallen leaves, tree debris covering, or concealing the boot-path. And there's a blow-down to get around.

Now that i am home writing this report - i noticed that i had crossed the PVCA boundary at/near (N) - a "Natural Area". And as the posted-Notice caution: please be aware of Owls (though i didn't see or encounter these Owls - the Owl shown in my Pic_2 is from the "web" 😊

Except for my noticing from a distance of ~50 ft, at the Junction at (2), there's 1 man walking with his dog (they were heading NE) whereas from the Junction, i was heading WNW), i saw no other person nor wildlife. Please note that the "Shared-Use" Trails may be "BIKE ONLY" and the direction-of-travel.

Lots of peace, quiet and sweet solitude in the midst of the lovely green forest. Only had a few drops of light rain.

Btw, the Honey-Bucket at the Parking was opened, and reasonably clean.

Happy Trails Everyone 😄

Hi Yo-Dutch,
Thanks! And if i can recall correctly, the North section: between (3) and (5) are "wilder" (i.e. "un-maintained" .. needs some T.L.C. 😅
