A beautiful day at Ebey’s Landing. My 3 kids and I started with the bluff trail down to the beach. We stopped to play in the sand every so often on the way back to the car. We saw 6 types of flowers blooming but not everyone would consider a dandelion a wildflower. To each their own. The little purple storkbill flowers were my kids favorites. We had to stop and look at every single one. We also saw the cactus, which they thought was the coolest thing! Views of the mountains were amazing. The trail is not dusty or muddy and besides the incline on the way up the bluff, the trail just rambles along giving you amazing views of the water, the Olympics and Mt Baker at times. I can see why people take the beach first and the bluff trail back. That way you don’t keep looking behind you to see the Olympics.
