Hiked up to Cathedral Falls today. You can park about 4/10 of a mile from the trailhead but can’t get closer because of snow and a downed tree, so we hiked on the road a little. The trail starts with compact snow and a couple down trees and then transitions into dry trail and then intermittent snow the rest of the way to the falls. Crossing the falls was a little precarious due to ice but we made it with just poles. We were hoping to go a bit past the falls but turned around just past the cave due to a lot of snow and steep drop offs. I’d give it a couple more weeks to get less snow on the trail.
