What do you when your initial plan is cancelled. Come up with a Plan B. BSA Venture Crew was suppose to have a backpacking trip on the coast at Toleak Peak to First Beach. Due to the high wind advisory we changed our plans last minute and went for a 9 mile hike around the Green Mtn area instead.
Started at Gold Creek to Vista and summited. Then down part of Wildcat to GM-17, down to GM-4 to GM-46 to take the Tin-Mine trail, and loop back into Gold Creek.
Some geocaching along the way, despite mutiny from the Crew because they didn’t want to Geocache, just hike. You would have thought I was making them do something horrible.
Overall, the trail was ok. Very muddy and large puddles of water. It didn’t stop raining on us the whole day. Despite our rain gear, we returned to the van soak. The Crew did say they would like to come back again, hopefully in better weather.

Looks like fun! You know, you can put multiple trails in each Report, no need to post 3 Reports for one trip, especially since they're all the same.

I did not know I could put multiple trails into one report. I will have to look into that.
