Hiked on Glenrose Hill starting at the Phillips Creek Trailhead. Just a short hike before a doctor's appointment in the area, but it was so worth it. Sunny, but still pretty cold. Most of the trail goes through the forest until you reach the top. There it connects to the Cliff Trail (which I will hike next time!) and that trail seems to be pretty exposed, so would probably be hot in the summer. Trail was in excellent condition and well maintained. And the highlight - at least for me - early wildflowers, in the lower parts of the trail! Large areas of Grass Widows with a few Spring Beauty and Glacier Lilies. The Glacier Lilies are just starting so there should be a lot of them soon! Trailhead is easy to reach and has a generous parking lot with a porta potty.
