There is a good number of downed trees but nothing too difficult to cross.
There is still good amount of snow in the last half a mile. It’s melting so very easy to post hole. There were a couple of tricky spots but overall no issues with spikes and poles. I wouldn’t recommend doing it without traction. I saw people sliding on a dangerous slope and turn around.
Lake is frozen over and snow covered. Frequent avalanches across the lake.
