Possible trail closure - washout near the Coal Creek Parkway end of the trail.
My wife, who uses a power wheelchair, and I were checking out the trail to see how wheelchair accessible it was. We started at the Coal Creek Parkway end of the trail, but just beyond the junction with the trail to Forest Drive, it's clear that the creek had somewhat recently washed out the retaining devices on the downhill side of the trail. This washout, along with the cross slope towards the water made it such that we had to turn around here. On the return to the car we noticed trail closed sign that had been tossed off to the side of the trail.
Otherwise, as far as wheelchair accessibility goes. The first 100yds or so is very loose pea gravel, which varied in depth from a fraction of an inch to several inches deep. It was passible in a powerchair, but it did spin it's tires a few times until they got down to solid ground. The next short distance was better, but we clearly didn't go any further than the washout.
Parking lot has one van accessible spot, and had one accessible type and one standard type port-a-john.
