Lake Serene — Sunday, May. 7, 2023

Got to the parking lot around 8 am, was about half full. Trail was muddy and there were several downed trees along the trail but not hard to get around. Trail was snow covered for about the last half mile to the lake, micro spikes were helpful and I was glad I had them but saw plenty of people doing it without them. The lake was mostly frozen over and still a lot of snow up there.
