Hiked up the creek side trail - 40percent of trail covered in compact snow and ice - not good for my 78 yr old Mom. The top was warmer and steps down to waterfall basin were bare and wet. Came back down the wagon trail which was much easier, only 2 percent snow, and a couple of fallen trees to circumnavigate. Trail side has a lot of puddles you can’t avoid, so bring a dry pair is shoes for the car ride home. No bugs. Temp was chilly at 10am, but turned out just right. Parking was maxed inside fee area, but still a few roadside just outside the gate.
