Arrived at the trailhead at 1pm on Friday; only one other car there.
The trail is in beautiful condition early on. The trillium is in full bloom and there are plenty of small waterfalls and interesting trees and moss to see. But the farther you go, the more obstacles. At mile 6.3 there's a bridge out, but two nearby options for log crossings. Just past that, there's a series of blowdowns that are difficult but not impossible to navigate (see photo). At mile 7, there's another water crossing that showed no good options and the water was moving aggressively, so that's where I turned around. The only snow I saw on the trail was just across this final crossing I could not make.
