The road to the trailhead wasn’t too bad. Potholes till Summit Creek. Then Rocky till the campground. Soda Springs Campground is still closed. Parked outside the gate. A decent amount of snow on the campground road and in the general area. Trail easy to find and follow. We went the 2 miles to the Jug Lake Outlet. Creek was flowing forcefully, bubbling. Didn’t want to chance it. Plus, that wasn’t the objective anyways. We scrambled up the hill to the left for a nice view of Jug Lake Falls. We then turned around and did some off trail scrambling to a couple other waterfalls on the creek. Great day!
