BEWARE OF POISON OAK

Great day out on the trail with few other folks for company. Found some of the last blooming lupines up near the top of the Lyle Loop and in the shady forested area near the Cherry Loop.

Wind was crazy at times, but in kind of a fun way because it would come and go as you moved across the bluffs.

The main trail is easy to follow, but watch out for all the social trails that lead to overlooks and be mindful of the hard left turn for the Lyle Loop if you hit the Cherry side first.

Lastly, and I can not stress this enough, do yourself a favors and wear long pants. I don’t care how hot it is, just do it. The poison oak is thriving up there and is hiding amongst the foliage just waiting to reach out and grab you.
