Made it to the mine easily without many obstacles.
We decided to find the waterfalls beyond the trail. I honestly expected the creek to be much fuller this early in the year!
Just past the mine and before the full creek: Take the dry creekbed up and follow the "trail" which quickly becomes a little scramble along the creek. Even if you don't plan on going all the way to the waterfalls, the creek is dry to the point where you get a great view of Whitehorse Mt, so worth it for that! Glad I brought my sandals because I needed to get my feet wet to cross the creek before the falls.
I was not sure what conditions would be, but sometimes you really have to go see for yourself! Thankfully there was no snow and the creek was not too full :) Great day!
