Ira Spring Trail - Mason Lake — Sunday, May. 28, 2023

The trail was good: dry and stable. although this trail is marked as a moderate-hard trail, I found it on the on the high end of moderate and low-end hard. it's a nice hike... it does have a constant incline with the last mile being steeper. We didn't start seeing many people until we got to the top and then on the decent.

the last part of the drive to the trailhead is a loosely graveled and a 1 lane road. So it's a challenge getting around the corners when there is zero sight of vehicles speeding around those corners.

We started the hike at 7am with 15 cass in the parking lot. When we left, the lot was full, and cars were parked along the road. (>25 our more cars)

It was a cloudy morning. There was not a lot of opportunity for 'great' pictures.
