Discovery Park Beach and Highlands Loop — Tuesday, May. 30, 2023

It was a beautiful day for this trip, sun shining and 60-ish degrees. The trail on this loop is maintained, save for a few loose boards on some little wood bridges. There was little mud in very few places. The short but a bit steep hills/stair climbing at some points was not too much for my mom, who suffers with back pain. This was the reason that I picked this hike, because she wanted to come with me. The parking lot wasn't too full and the trails were not packed! And the lighthouse was very worth seeing, especially because I never knew it existed.
