Middle Fork Teanaway River — Sunday, May. 28, 2023

Lovely day hike along the wandering Teanaway River. Hike starts with a river crossing. We discovered a more shallow crossing about 40 feet upstream which was better for the kids-the actual river crossing on the trail was almost thigh deep. Several river crossings. Amphibious footwear is a must. We did not make it all the way to the end, but the miles we did cover were visually stunning with striking  rock formations, river views, and vistas. Lovely hike and moderate going, but be prepared to get wet!
