Great loop on a wonderfully maintained trail. We got to the trailhead at around 10am on a sunny Friday with only a couple other cars there. During the hike, we saw a handful of people but mostly had the trail to ourselves. This trail does climb pretty constantly for the first couple miles, but it's not too steep a grade and there are many benches along the way for rests. In the second half, we crossed the creek several times over cool bridges, and there are many opportunities to walk to the creek. We ended up adding in the viewpoint that is a mile onto the Mount Ellinor connector and highly recommend doing that - it is a climb but the viewpoint is worth it with a nice bench for lunch!
