This trail is in need of some love. First section starts out great, but about a mile in from the trailhead there is a huge pile of blow downs, three trees stacked on top of each other with tons of branches, completely blocking the trail…difficult to get around. For the next mile or so there is mostly just singular trees down sporadically, nothing too difficult to get over but slowed things down. Cleared as many limbs and debris as a could along the way, but definitely need a chainsaw to get the big ones. After the clearing by rampart falls about 2.5 miles in the trail becomes very overgrown, having to mostly duck down through a tunnel of slide alder, turned around shortly after this.
