Overall the hike is wonderful and not too difficult. My toddler did fine on most parts of the trail walking. Parents should note that not every trail is stroller friendly. We unexpectedly carried the stroller for more than we thought we would. In particular the description says to take a left at the fork after the bridge, DO NOT do that if you have a stroller. Stick to the access road, it's still pretty and less cumbersome.
Beware the mosquitoes. They were terrible, I have head to toe bites.
