When I started, there was some snow right at the rest rooms and a couple came out of the the trail saying they lost the trail and they were turning back. I was initially planning to start on the Commonwealth basin trail and then join the PCT, but I thought that trail was blocked and started out on the PCT.
There are several snow banks and fallen trees blocking the trail but none too hard to cross (and a small stream crossing or two). An excellent day. I had the summit to myself with views stretching up to Mount Stuart in the north.
