Sourdough Mountain — Sunday, Jul. 2, 2023

Wow, they aren't kidding when they say you start by climbing and just keep climbing. The trail is in good condition, there are only a couple blow downs that are easy to cross on the way up. Views are outstanding. We hit snow at the ridge and in patches along up to the lookout tower, but all areas were easy to navigate. It was almost harder to go down this trail than up, by the end my knees were screaming. Beware there is no bathroom (that we found) near the trailhead. Mosquitoes were hungry in the woods and on top, thankfully good breezes kept them at bay.
